Good Morning Everyone ~ I was playing with the Paper Pumpkin kits again and I have a cute Patriotic Treat for you today.
Well I did not get any knitting done yesterday. I did however send out my customer thank you’s, sent out my international Random Acts of Kindness, paid some bills, printed out my stickers I created for my planner, cut more paper for my workshop, sent pictures to Target to be printed and picked them up, went shopping for an item I wanted to get to play with, as well as made a scrapbook page for my blog on Monday! Another productive day! I love it when I get so much done.
My sister was telling me about how she had used the triangle piece from a previous kit. That gave me an idea for my treats for my workshop this month. I have used those triangle bags before to be watermelon slices and carrots. Today I am using them to Patriotic Treat banners! I picked up some red, white, and blue M&M’s. I took a piece of Night of Navy card stock that was 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. I folded it in half. Tear and Tape was added to the Night of Navy piece about 1/4″ up from each long straight edge. I also added the Tear & Tape to the top of the triangle bag. The triangle bag was filled with M&M’s. The tear & tape was removed and the triangle bag was adhered inside. Here is what the treats look like.
Here is a single picture of the treats
Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. If you have any Paper Pumpkin kits you have not put together, pull them out and then search my blog for other ideas. There are lots on here! Have a Super Saturday and don’t you wish you could come to my workshop to get a Cute Patriotic Treat!
