Hello Stampers ~ Did you know that Photos can be great inspiration for you card making?
Well today is my last day at Barb’s. It is bittersweet as my time with Barb is almost over but at the same time I am anxious to get back to my craft room.
Today is my last day to post this month for the Card a Day Challenge blog. Today we have a photo for inspiration.
I loved the blue barn in this photo. I remembered our Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Stack had a piece of paper that was blue and looked like wood. I decided to use it for a panel on my card. I wrapped some linen thread around my designer series paper several times and tied a bow. I attached this panel to my Crumb Cake card base. I stamped my sentiment from the Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Pool Party onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. I used the Project Life Corner rounder punch to round the opposite corners of the card stock. I cute a piece of Crumb Cake card stock a little larger than the Whisper White and rounded opposite corners like the Whisper White. I attached the Whisper White to the Crumb Cake then attached this piece to the lower right hand corner of my card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Patterned paper is a great way to create a quick card. Here is my creation.
