Hello Everyone ~ are you ready to see my Pillow Gift #3 for OnStage 2018 Orlando?
Wish me luck on my drive to Jess’! It should not be too bad as Bijou will sleep most of the way because of the medicine. I have set stops which also helps as when I stop I usually try to get her to take care of her business also. I am hoping by leaving so much before the actual holiday I will not hit much traffic. Jess and the girls have a party tomorrow and will be staying over so I will have the house to myself until about noon on Sunday. This will give me time to get settled in and Bijou straight before the girls get there. Then I will get lots of snuggles with the girls! Can’t wait!
Today I am sharing my last pillow gift from OnStage 2018. This one was an idea I saw online and decided to put my own spin on it. The one I saw online used a regular clipboard. I decided to make a mini version. I found some great black heavy plastic clipboards at Amazon. I then found some perfect post-it note pads at Dollar Tree. I was able to use the 3 colors to match up to the favorite color of each person. This is the one I made for Amanda. Her favorite colors were Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green. I used a retired black and white paper and sponged on Flirty Flamingo ink. I then used this square and the Envelope Punch Board to make a small envelope. To make a pen holder I took some black elastic and attached each end using some strong bonding glue. Then using some card stock and sticky tape I added a strip to decorate each side of a large binder clip. I stamped a cute flower on it for some decoration. This helps hide the elastic. The clip is also used to hold the small envelope in place. To finish off the clipboard I used the large letters framelits and cut out the first letter of their names. I cut 3 of each letter and then used glue to adhere them together. A layer of Crystal Effects was added to the top to give it a vinyl look. I then glued the letter onto the bottom of the clipboard. Here is the Pillow Gift #3 for OnStage 2018 Orlando.
