Playing with my Prize Patrol

Happy Monday Everyone!

I hope you had a great weekend!  I spent some time cleaning my room and playing with my new stamp sets.

At Convention they do Prize Patrol after presentations.  We are all given a paper strip with our color on it.  After the person on the stage presents, they choose one color to win the prize.  I have been to Convention 6 times and never won so never expected my color to be drawn.  I was so excited when my color was picked.  I won a stamp set and a punch from the upcoming Holiday Mini.  

Mary Jo at Technostamper had a fun sketch for us this week.

I wanted to use the new set I won so I pulled it out.  This week at Late Night Stampers our challenge is to create a Fancy Fold card or one that moves.  I started looking at the set and there was an image in there I wanted to use.  I then thought it would be fun if I could arrange for it to pop out of a chimney.  I went searching for a tutorial and found one at Julie Davison’s blog that I could modify.  Here is what I did with the sketch and Julie’s tutorial.

Isn’t this just the cutest card?  I was quite tickled with myself and the way it turned out.  The new mini goes live at the end of August.  Will this set be on your order?
