Hello Everyone ~ a quick and easy simple Poppy Moments Poppy Card in black and red is today’s share.
I managed to spend a little time in my studio yesterday. I had 2 cards that the pieces had been stamped and cut so I just had to color them and put the card together. I also went looking for my embossing paste as I wanted to play with it. I found my Stampin’ Up tub but it had molded so I had to throw it away. I could not find my translucent one so I did not have any. I am going to have to order some more. I then took some time and began coloring in my book with my colored pencils. I bought an adult coloring book with butterflies and wanted to work on my blending skills. Here is my progress so far.
I have learned a few things just with this much completed so looking forward to working on it some more and learning some new things.
I saw a card on Facebook by Lisa Ex Hunt Moore that inspired me for today’s card.
I liked the cut out in the center of the card and decided to see what I had that would let me create my version. The Poppy Moments dies has a cluster of poppies that could be used for this idea. I used a Basic Black piece of card stock and cut the die out of the upper left hand corner. I then backed the card stock with a piece of Poppy Parade. It seemed bare so I took the Silver Metallic Edge ribbon and added it at the bottom. This panel was then added to a Whisper White card base. I used the poppy dies to cut out a poppy and the overlay and layered the pieces. The Wink of Stella pen was used to color the Poppy card stock to add some sparkle. This element was added in the lower right hand corner using dimensionals. To finish off the card a bow was added next to the cut out poppy. Here is my Poppy Moments Poppy Card creation.

I have used some of product from the Poppy Suite for quite a few cards. Did you see this idea a few days ago where I stamped the image on colored tissue paper? Check out this card that uses the designer series paper from the suite with a set not in the suite. Here is another idea that uses the designer series paper with a different set.
