Pretty pink and silver Enduring Beauty

Hello everyone – this feminine Pretty pink and silver Enduring Beauty card is gorgeous!

I am continuing to play with the Enduring Beauty stamp set. I have not seen it used much as the favorite is another set with Beauty in the title. I got this one to compare to some stamps and stencils I had gotten from other companies.

I began by embossing the image in silver. Then using alcohol markers I colored the flowers is a soft pink and the leaves in a Spring green. To add some depth I colored the inside and edges of the flowers with a darker pink and the stems of the leaves with a darker green. To blend it all together, I went over each image with the lighter color alcohol marker again. This is a great way to add depth if you are not an expert at shading. Here is the card so you can see the shading.

White – 4″ x 5 1/4″

I am new to using alcohol markers and having fun playing with different techniques. Here is a card that uses a play with blending. Not only can they be used for coloring but they can also be used to make great background like this idea.
