Pretty Pink Flowers for CutCardStock
Hello everyone – with all the cold snowy weather I thought we could all use some pretty flowers to brighten our day with the Pretty Pink Flowers for CutCardStock!
We go hit with a big snowstorm over the past weekend. We got record snows and frigid temperatures. I took pictures as the day went on. It started snowing on Saturday Morning around 9 and did not stop until Sunday around noon. Here are pictures at various times on Saturday.

I wanted to do a colorful flowery card as I have been shoveling snow for 3 days so I needed some color. I found a stencil and stamp set that I could use for today’s card.
Today’s Project
I used my stencil to choose the colors for my flower. I love pink so I chose 2 different Altenew collections. I used them to decide which cardstock from pink CutCardStock would match. The Strawberry Cream was a great match and I loved the shimmer and texture it had. I then used the different shades of pink to do the flowers for the background.
The flower had some leaves as part of the spray so I chose a green combination that went with the pink. To get an allover background pattern I made 1 pattern at the top and a second at the bottom. The coordinating stamp set had a flower that I stamped on a Cougar white smooth cardstock doily. I then used the matching alcohol markers to color it.
The Altenew Painted Floral Swag has some great images. I used the stencil on this card with another pink idea. The stamp set is great for using alone to make flowers for your cards like this idea.

I don’t know about you but it was nice to see the bright colors used for the Pretty Pink Flowers for CutCardStock card. It brightened my day and I hope it brightened your day.
