Product Focus

Good Morning Everyone ~ Thursday means it is our Product Focus blog hop.

It has been freezing here the past 2 days.  I am glad the temperature will be going up over the next few days.  I spent some time yesterday working on my scrapbook pages for my class later this month.  I have it all designed but would love to find some bunny tracks to stamp on them.  No one I know has this stamp.  Sounds like a good one for a company to make.

Today is our Product Focus blog hop.  This week we are using one of the new Sale-abration releases.  Stampin’ Up released 3 new Sale-abration items – 2 stamp sets and a package of glimmer paper.  I do not have the stamp sets so I had to use the glimmer paper.

Since all I had was the glimmer paper I went looking for a sketch.  I found one I could use at Paper Craft Crew challenges.

I began by cutting some of the Mint Macaron glimmer paper for the vertical strip.  This was attached to a layer of Whisper White.  I had some Old Olive baker’s twine that took on the Mint Macaron color when I wrapped it around so I use that.  Next I cut a strip of the Sweet Sugarplum glimmer paper and notched the end.  I used tear & tape to attach it to my card base.  A piece of Mint Macaron was cut and stamped with my sentiment.  The end of this was notched and I used glue dots to attach to the card base.  Using the Wild About Flowers stamp set I stamped the stems and flowers.  The Layering Circles were used to cut them out.  This was mounted onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry that was cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits.  The 2 circles were layered and added to the card layer using dimensionals.  A bow made with the retired Sweet Sugarplum glimmer ribbon was added using glue dots.  To finish off the card, some enamel dots were added.  This layer was added to a Rich Razzleberry card base.  My creation was complete!

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be finalizing my blog posts and packing for my trip tomorrow.  I am anxious to get away for a few days.  Have a Great Day and it will be fun to check out the other ideas for our Product Focus.
