Hello everyone – If you are looking for a quick idea for table decor check out today’s Pumpkin table decor using CutCardStock idea.

I love decorating my house for the seasons and holidays. I am always looking for fun ideas to try. When I saw this one I had to give it a try.

Today’s Project

Table decor is fun to make and if the project is easy that is even better. I saw a video on making paper pumpkins and decided to use some CutCardStock to make some for my Fall table display. These are easy to make as they use strips of cardstock. I chose to use the 3 colors you can usually find the fake pumpkins in. The orange, light teal, and ivory pumpkins will look great this Fall season.

To make the pumpkins you will need strips of cardstock that are 1″ wide. I used different lengths to get the different sizes. A hole punch was used to add holes at each end of the strips. A brad joined all the strips at one end. A brown pipe cleaner was folded in half and the ends were then threaded through the hole on the other end. Form a loop on the folded end and twist it several times then fold it against the strips. Spread the strips to form your pumpkin. Take the other end and fold it to the length of stem you want. Twist the extra around the stem going up the stem to make it thicker.

To make the vines take a 1/4″ piece of green cardstock and spritz it with water. Wrap it around a pencil and let it dry. Use a strong glue to attach it to the stem near the bottom. Your pumpkin is now ready to sit on your table
