Punch Art Bunny

Good Morning Everyone ~ I have an adorable Punch Art Bunny eating his way through a chocolate egg as my creation today.

I went through some bins I had brought down from the upstairs bedroom.  I got the contents sorted and repackaged or in the correct pile.  I have a bunch of shredding to do so I started working on that also.  I then went through my bins and have divided them into ones I can put in the garage and ones that have to be stored in a closet in the house.  Today I am going to go through some other bins I had downstairs so I can determine if they go in the garage or have to be stored in the house.  Then next week I will start moving the bins to their storage area so I can finish getting the house ready.  It is amazing how much you can accumulate in 13 years.  I am thinking I am going to come up with a system to go through anything I have not used in a year and either donate or pitch.  Do not want to have to do this again!

I recently saw a card that was designed like a tree with a hole in it and a punch art bunny was jumping in the hole.  I thought it would be cute to do a different version where the bunny was eating his way through a chocolate egg.  I began by pulling out my oval framelits and used the biggest oval I had.  I cut my Chocolate Chip card stock at 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored it at 5 1/2″.  The card stock was folded on the score line.  I placed the framelit onto the card stock making sure the top of the oval hung over the fold a little.  This allowed me to cut the card stock but leave the top still connected so it opened like a card.  I ran the card stock through the Big Shot to cut it out.  Using the 2 1/2″ circle punch I punched a piece of Chocolate Chip card stock.  The edges were sponged with Early Espresso and then the circle was attached to the card front to represent the hole.  Then using Whisper White and the 2″ circle punch along with the retired large oval punch I punched one circle and two ovals.  Using the retired small oval punch and Pink Pirouette card stock I punched out 2 of those.  Time to finish putting the card together.  I glued the white circle on the card base  on the lower part of the Chocolate Chip circle on the card.  The pink ovals were attached to the white ovals and a Basic Black marker was used to add the feet lines at the bottom.  The feet were then attached to the white circle to look like the feet of the bunny.  To finish off the card a pom pom was added for the tail.  Here is the Punch Art Bunny eating a chocolate egg card.
