Punched Flower using Blossom Builder Punch

Hello Everyone ~ Check out my Punched Flower using Blossom Builder Punch to see a cute flower.

Well I managed to get all the packing completed I wanted to get done.  As of today I have the kitchen to finish packing.  It looks so bare in here now.  After tomorrow it will be really bare as I will only have the bare minimum left until I have to move out on Monday.  I will spend my weekend doing my not so favorite thing ~ cleaning.  It will be easy as there will not be anything in the rooms.

Are you excited that it is the first day of Spring?  I know I am!  I am ready for some color with flowers as well as days where we don’t need a coat or jacket.  In honor of the first day of Spring, I have a pretty punched flower today.  I pulled out my Bunch of Blossoms stamp set and the Blossom Builder Punch to create a pretty flower card.  I began by using a second generation stamping of the solid flower stamp using Highland Heather.  Next I stamped the second stamp in the series using Highland Heather.  Finally I stamped the outline of the stamp using Gorgeous Grape.  This gave me the petal with some dimension.  I repeated this process 4 other times so I had 5 petals total.  The punch was used to punch out the petals.  I used glue dots to put my flower together by adding 1 petal over top the second petal.  I then completed the rest of the flower by overlapping each petal watching my spacing so when I got back to the first petal the petals all formed a complete flower.  I then used the same procedure using Mint Macaron for the leaves.  Once I had them punched out, I added the leaves to the back of the flower.  To add some interest I took a panel of Whisper White and embossed it using the Tufted embossing folder.  I added the panel to a Highland Heather card base.  The flower was attached to the center of the card front using glue dots.  For the flower center, I used the small flower on the punch and some Sparkle Glimmer Paper.  This was attached using glue dots.  For my sentiment I used one in the set and stamped it in Highland Heather.  I trimmed around the sentiment and then cut a piece of Highland Heather a little larger.  I attached the 2 layers and then added them to my card in the lower right hand corner using dimensionals.  Here is the completed Punched Flower using Blossom Builder Punch creation.
