Quick and Easy Year of Cheer Card

Hello Stampers ~ My Quick and Easy Year of Cheer Card uses that gorgeous dsp as well as the Eastern Beauty bundle.

Yesterday I did manage to get one video made.  I had a phone call that was a lot longer than I had planned.  I was working last night when I got a phone call from Jess.  She was stuck in traffic due to an accident and needed me to get the girls as she would not be there before closing.  It was a good thing that the other coordinator was there as I could easily leave without any issue.  I felt bad and Jess hated to ask me but she did not have any idea when she would get to the day care.  I was a little late picking them up but that was okay.  It was probably okay for me to leave early as no one had come to the Open House.  We will not have another one until March so I don’t need to worry about it again for a while.

I wanted to play with the Year of Cheer dsp especially the copper leaves one.  I ran across the sketch challenge at Try Stampin’ On Tuesday

I began with my Year of Cheer dsp.  I cut a piece for the bottom of the landscape card base.  I attached it so that it was even with the bottom of the card base.  For my rectangle element in the sketch I used a layer of Emerald Envy and mounted a layer of Whisper White that I had stamped my sentiment on.  I wrapped a piece of  Emerald Envy retired ruched ribbon around and added a bow.  I mounted this onto card base with dimensionals.  Using the Cooper Foil sheets I cut out one of the flower shaped images from the Eastern Beauty bundle.  I added the flower to the upper right corner of the sentiment layer with glue dots.  My Quick and Easy Year of Cheer Card is now complete.  Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have a busy day today.  I have a workshop this morning, another phone call after my workshop, and an event this evening.  What does your day look like.  Have a Fabulous Friday and feel free to use my idea for a Quick and Easy Year of Cheer Card!
