Remarkable You from Stampin’ Up

Hello Crafty Ladies ~ how about getting crafty with Remarkable You from Stampin’ Up for a pretty card?

Well the time for my visit is halfway over.  We have been busy with lots going on.  I always have so much fun when I visit Barb.  We do so many things from shopping, stamping, knitting, and we even relax and watch TV.  We never know what we are going to do as we take advantage of spur of the moment ideas.  I never know what new adventure we will be doing.  So much fun!

I am almost finished with all the images I colored a while ago.  This one uses colored pencils.  I love playing with colored pencils and seeing what I can do.  I worked on my shading with this one.  I love learning how to use color to make an image come alive.  After I had it colored, I cut it out.  For my card I began with a Rich Razzleberry card base.  I used the image stamp and did some tone on tone stamping.  The striped Petal Passion dsp was cut a little larger than the image.  It was mounted onto a piece of Basic Black card stock.

I have another idea that used the pencils to color an image.  Make sure you check out my post Stampin’ Up Watercolor Pencils that used dark card stock for another idea!

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am glad the weather has been nicer but I am wondering if we are going to have another snap of freezing weather.  I don’t know about you but I am so over it!  Have a Great day and I have enjoyed using these bold images to create cards similar to my Remarkable You from Stampin’ Up card.
