Hello Everyone ~ Have you thought about the fact that in 2 months we will have some Retiring Colors?
I had a bit of a scare yesterday. I had worked on my card for my post today. I was working on the post as I had a few minutes before my class started. When I uploaded the banner for the challenge I realized I had done the wrong challenge for this week. Well I quickly went into my craft room and pulled card stock and framelits and a stamp set. I very quickly started cutting out my flowers and spray. I managed to get all my elements cut out and had started working on a layout. About that time, my first customer showed up. We were waiting on another lady so we were chatting and I continued to work. I managed to get my card made and photographed before we started the workshop. I was so glad as I was able to use natural light for my photograph which gives a better picture.
Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop is in honor of the retiring colors.
I decided to use Watermelon Wonder and Cucumber Crush. I also used the Botanical Builder framelits. I cut out all my pieces. For the white smaller flower I sponged the edges with the Watermelon Wonder ink. I attached the black spray with Snail along the left hand edge. I then started layering my leaves onto my flowers. I placed my flowers on my card and played with the placement until I was pleased with the look. Once I was pleased with the placement, I began attaching all the elements. Once I had all the flowers glued down, it needed something so I decided to add a sentiment. I chose to use the One Big Meaning set. Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. I have a workshop and I need to work for the college this evening. I hope to get into my craft room. Have a Wonderful Wednesday and which of the Retiring Colors will you miss?

Nice use of the colors. I have to commend you for getting all that done at the very last minute while greeting customers. I doubt I could have done that. I love the insides too. Good job. Hugs.
