Hello Everyone ~ the 2018 – 2020 In Colors are leaving at the end of the month so I have a Say Goodbye to Pineapple Punch idea for you today.
I spent most of the day yesterday in my studio. I have all my cards and videos for this week other than 1 day completed. I even have a few other cards I can use next week. It was nice to play with some cards for fun. Today I am going to work on my mask cards ~ yes I finally have all of them glued ~ I have 65 cards to put together and then address all those envelopes. I also need to work on my card kits for this month. I am doing Birthday cards as one of my ladies requested that. I also want to start working on some kids kits. I have gotten feedback from my daughter about her kit for Zoie and Remi. I am still waiting on feedback from the other mom. This is a challenge for me as the directions have to be in rebus form ~ pictures with one or two words as the kids are not readers yet. I am hoping they are popular and I can sell some of them.
This week I am featuring the retiring In Colors from 2018 – 2020. These colors will be gone at the end of the month if not before. I have used some of these colors quite a bit and one or two not that often. Today I am using Pineapple Punch. I have to admit I have not used this color much. It is a very bright color ~ almost neon ~ and I found it harsh on the eyes. Nevertheless I dug in and created a card with it. I began by using the Stitched Shapes dies to create a frame using the second square from the inside and the largest square to cut out the shape. I added it to the card front on a point for a diamond shape rather than a square using dimensionals. A ribbon was tied around the frame using the Pineapple Punch grosgrain ribbon. The Butterfly Gala stamp set was used to stamp some small butterflies onto Pineapple Punch card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The coordinating punch was used to punch them out. The bodies were added and then I sprinkled them onto the card front using dimensionals. A rhinestone was added to each butterfly. A sentiment from Daisy Lane was stamped into the center of the frame. Here is the completed Say Goodbye to Pineapple Punch creation.

Pineapple Punch is a bright yellow. Check out this idea that uses the Pineapple Punch for a watercolor background. These sunflowers are very bright and cheery and would be fun to get in the mail. Look how striking these Pineapple Punch daisies are on the black card base!
