Good Morning Stampers ~ I love a quiet area with Serene Flowers!
I don’t know where yesterday went. I went for a walk in the morning and then spent some time in my craft room. I was able to get my one card finished and another one designed and completed. I also cut all the paper for Zoie’s Valentine’s and helped her put them together so all we have to do is add the treat. Then last night I cut all the paper for my workshop this week. A very productive day in my book!
We have a new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. This one is an inspiration challenge. Here is the photo I put together for our challenge.
I was immediately drawn to the blurred background and the daffodils in 2 of the photos. I went with that idea. I pulled out the Serene Scenery dsp and found a great blurred background. When I got the Basket Bunch bundle I knew I wanted to play with the daffodils in it. I stamped the images on watercolor paper and used the Watercolor pencils to color them in. I stamped the stems and leaves and used the matching framelits to cut out all the shapes. I used Tombow glue to glue all the pieces together. Once the pieces were dry, I attached them to my dsp. It needed something else, so I used some of the silver metallic ribbon from Sale-abration. This layer was added to an Old Olive card base. To finish it off I added a sentiment from Circle of Spring with a layer of Silver Glimmer paper behind it. Here is my completed creation.

I hope you will check out the other creations over at Hand Stamped Sentiments. There are some great interpretations of the inspiration photo. I am sure you will find something that will appeal to you.
Thanks for visiting me today. I have an appointment and some ladies are coming for my workshop. I will do some playing in between! Have a Terrific Tuesday and what is your idea of Serene Flowers?
