#ShopYourCraftStash Feels Like Frost

Happy Monday Everyone ~ I am at it again with my #ShopYourCraftStash Feels Like Frost creation today.

The play yesterday was really good.  It was a comedy and the actors did a great job.  We were talking and have enjoyed the plays this year.  Barb looked and found the ones they are doing next year.  They sound good also so we are looking at getting season tickets again.  Today we are headed to Wilmington to meet up with a friend for lunch.  It has been a couple of months since we have seen her so it was time to meet up again.  We will also do some shopping afterwards as there are a few stores we want to check out that we do no have in New Bern.

I thought today would be the last idea for the Feels Like Frost dsp.  I found 2 more patterns I had not used so I will be working on cards for those to share with you.  Today’s share was a #ShopYourCraftStash idea.  The Feels Like Frost dsp has a great blue piece with some Queen Anne’s Lace flowers on it.  I found a stamp set that I felt would go with it well.  The retired Blooms & Wishes stamp set has some great sprigs in it that I felt matched the photo well.  I inked the springs up using Seaside Spray ink and then used the Night of Navy marker to add some darker blue up under the tips like the photo.  I alternated the 2 stamps and created a border on a strip of Whisper White card stock.  Once I had the strip completed it was time to put the card together.  I took the designer series paper and cut it down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and mounted it onto a layer of Night of Navy that measured 4″ x 5 1/4″.  This layer was added to a Whisper White card base.  Two strips of Sparkle glimmer paper were cut at 3/8″ x 5″.  The bottom strip was attached to the designer series paper using Tear & Tape.  I used the stamped strip to determine where to add the other glimmer strip and attached it using Tear & Tape also.  Glue dots were added to the stamped strip and it was added to the glimmer strips centering it to make it even.  To finish off the card I stamped the sentiment from Colorful Seasons using Night of Navy onto Whisper White card stock.  It was punched out using the Classic Label punch and added to the upper right hand corner using dimensionals.  Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Feels Like Frost creation.

A beautiful blue #ShopYourCraftStash Feels Like Frost creation is easy to do. Don't miss the retired stamp set used to create this easy card.
