Hello Ladies ~ I went shopping my craft stash and found a set to use with the Tropical Oasis designer series paper for my #ShopYourCraftStash Humming Along creation.
I had my car serviced yesterday. As usual they tried to get me to flush my brakes and my engine. I said no and will do some research to see if I need to do these things. I hate that they do this to me. I always wonder if they do it because I am a woman and if they try this stuff with a man. Anyone out there that can let me know when you have to have your brakes and engine flushed, let me know. I then spent the afternoon in my studio. I managed to get 5 cards made that I need between now and when I get back from California. I did not do any videos but will be working on them today to see how many I can get completed. I have my list and will work on it and cross things off as I get them done. I will be very busy over the next week!
Today is my #ShopYourCraftStash series. This is when I look at my retired product to see what I can inspire you with. In the upcoming Occasions catalog is a designer series paper that has a hibiscus on it. I remembered a few sets I used to have to see which one I still had that I could use. I was excited to see that I still have the Humming Along and the coordinating Hummingbird dies. I pulled them out and started creating. I stamped the hibiscus using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Then using my Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz, and Real Red markers I began coloring the image. Once I had it colored, I used the die to cut it out. I also used the largest scalloped Layering Oval and Old Olive card stock to cut out my oval. The In the Woods dies were used with the designer series paper to give it a wavy edge. The designer series paper was mounted on the bottom of a Daffodil Delight landscape card. The scallop oval was mounted on the right hand side of the card front using dimensionals. I added the hibiscus using dimensionals also. I wanted some ribbon and remembered I had the Old Olive 1/8″ sheer ribbon that was retired so pulled it out and tied it around the top fold of the card. To finish the card I pulled out some retired Faceted Gems and added some black rhinestones. Here is my completed #ShopYourCraftStash Humming Along.

If you have these products, here are some ideas using them. This one uses the hummingbird for a great card. This card uses the wavy die to create a monochromatic idea. Here is another idea where the image was colored using the same flicking technique as used on today’s card.
