Hello Everyone ~ I went shopping my my punches for my #ShopYourCraftStash Petite Petals Punch idea today.
Well I got my TV yesterday. I went to Target to take advantage of the sale they had on the size I was looking for. While there were a lot of people in the store I walked straight up to a cashier. After I got my shopping done I came back home and started spray painting my trees for outside. At Mumfest this year they had a metal worker who has come every year for a few years. I have bought some small things from them in the past and this year when I went to their booth they had some small spiral trees. I purchased 3 of them and I had to spray paint them with Rustoleum to prevent them from rusting. Each tree had to have 3 coats so I managed to get them all done. Then I started spray painting my whirligig which I also purchased from them. I only got 2 coats on one side of it so I will finish it up today. I also managed to make my next project for the 12 Weeks of Christmas. It is all scheduled to be e-mailed to people who have signed up for my newsletter. Then I made my wine tag for the Wine Tasting party I am going to tonight. I was busy as a bee and Barb sent me a text asking if I wanted to go to the movies to see the Mr. Rogers movie. We went to an afternoon show. The movie was very good but not what I was expecting it would be about. You do learn a lot about him. I would highly recommend if you have a chance you go see it.
It is my #ShopYourCraftStash day to share an idea for an item from your stash. I saw a card online that I loved from another company and you know me I had to remake it using Stampin’ Up supplies. I began with a piece of Whisper White and embossed the All Wired Up background stamp with clear embossing powder. Then using sponges and Coastal Cabana and Daffodil Delight I sponged color all over the card stock. I wiped the ink off the embossing using a soft cloth and them mounted the piece onto a layer of Basic Black. I knew where I was going and knew the card would need something so I pulled out my Silver metallic edge ribbon and added a strip across the top. This panel was then attached to a Whisper White card base. Using the Well Written dies, I cut out 3 “friend” words and used glue to glue them together to make a thick die. The thick die was then added to the card front using glue. Don’t forget to do the dot for the “i” also. Now using the Petite Petals punch I punched out 4 Coastal Cabana and 4 Basic Black flowers. The flowers were layered using glue dots with the black just slightly offset so it peaks out behind the Coastal Cabana flower. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to add the flowers to the card base. To finish off the card rhinestones were added to the center of each flower. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Petite Petals Punch creation.

I have lots of ideas for embossing on my blog. Check out this copper embossed idea for a simple creation. Here is an idea for a copper embossed flower. This idea does some embossing on vellum.
