#ShopYourCraftStash That’s the Tag

Hello Everyone ~ I have a rainbow colored card with my #ShopYourCraftStash That’s the Tag creation.

Well I took some time to pull all my retiring stamp sets.  I got hit hard!  I lost all the set pictured below.  I only have about 20 sets left.  I did have a few carry over.  I also ordered 2 sets from the Occasions catalog ~ one that is carrying over but not a bundle and one that is retiring that I can use in the development since it is a big golfing community.

I was surprised by some of them but others were not as they had been around for a couple of years.  I also lost a few punches.  The circle punches are declining so if there is a size you do not have make sure you order it as soon as possible.

Today I need to work on my cards for next week.  I will be featuring some of the retiring sets over the next few weeks so you can see them before they are gone.  They will be some of my favorite so make sure you come back each day!

For my #ShopYourCraftStash creation today I went with a rainbow color scheme.  Several years ago we had a stamp set that was designed for tags.  The That’s the Tag set had some great images and sentiments.  It also had coordinating thinlit dies.  I began by stamping the circle element using Granny Apple Green ink.  Since I need thank you cards I used that sentiment and stamped it using Pacific Point ink.  The 1 3/4″ circle punch was the perfect size to punch it out.  I also used the 2″ circle punch with Daffodil Delight and the 2 1/4″ circle punch with Real Red for the layers.  I layered all the circles and set aside.  The set had a curved flower spray so I used the Granny Apple Green and Pacific Point markers to ink up the image stamping it twice and doing a second generation stamping each time.  The placement of the flower spray was determine by setting the circle sentiment on the 3 3/4″ x 5″ Whisper White panel to know where to stamp it.  The Sprig punch was used along with Granny Apple Green card stock to punch out 2 of them.  They were added using glue dots to the back of the sentiment element on the opposite side from the stamped spray.  The sentiment element was added to the lower left hand corner of the panel using dimensionals.  The dies have a set of butterflies in them.   I used a rainbow of card stock to cut them out.  To help attach them to the card panel, when I had all of the butterflies cut out I put each one back in the die.  I added a little dot of glue to the back and then flipped the die over onto my card.  Using the piercing tool I pushed each butterfly out so it would be in the perfect position on the card panel.  Now that my panel was complete I attached it to a Pacific Point card base.  Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash That’s the Tag creation.

I love using shapes as the focal image on a card.  This card uses a circle behind the flower for the sentiment.  This frame was used to emphasize the flowers and leaves.   Another way to use your shape is to emboss it like the one on this card.
