Hello Stampers ~ I played with set my sister had for my #ShopYourCraftStash Thoughts and Prayers card today.
Are you a midday or midnight crafter? I have to say over the years my time for crafting has changed. When I was younger I could not sleep so I would get up and craft in the middle of the night. Now I am more of a midday crafter. This gives me time to get up and walk and then take my shower and have a relaxing breakfast. By the time I do all of that it is midday and I head to my craft room. I will then usually craft until late afternoon or even when it is dinner time. What is your routine like? Leave me a comment and let me know.
While I was staying at my sister’s I checked out some of her sets as she often bought ones different from me. I have liked this set for a while but never purchased it. Since she had the set I decided to use it for my #ShopYourCraftStash series. I began my inking up the tree using my Crumb Cake ink. Then I used the Old Olive marker to color the leaves. This was stamped onto a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Whisper White card stock in the lower left hand corner. I wanted my tree to have a Spring feel so I used the flower cluster from Beautiful Bouquet to stamp the flowers using Flirty Flamingo. The sentiment is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set and was stamped using Old Olive ink. I added some retired Flirty Flamingo ruched ribbon. This panel was mounted onto a Flirty Flamingo card base. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Thoughts and Prayers creation.

I have used the color Flirty Flamingo quite a bit. Check out these daffodils that were used for my One Color Wonder with Flirty Flamingo. This color with gray made some pretty butterflies like the ones on this card. Check out this idea with bokeh dots stamped with Flirty Flamingo ink.
