Simple and Easy

Good Morning Ladies ~ I have a Simple and Easy card for you today.

Well today I am headed to North Carolina. It is at least 6 hours with only stopping for bathroom breaks. I may take a little longer break depending on how much sleep I got last night. Sometimes I need to take some time and walk around a little to reset my brain. It is also supposed to rain so if it does that will take me a little longer.

At Make My Monday we have a new challenge.

BLACK, WHITE AND A POP OF RED

I love black and white with a pop of any color. I knew with the red it had to be a Valentine card. I began by looking at my dsp to see what I had. The Pop of Pink had some great black and white patterns. Since I am partial to dots and stripes I chose 2 patterns that would go together. I cut the 2 of them and attached together with a piece of tear & tape. I then cut myribbon and wrapped it around and used the tear & tape to hold it in place. Another piece of tear & tape was place on top of the original piece to sandwich the ribbon between them. Snail was added and then the panel was attached to the card base. To add my pop of red, I used the Red Glimmer paper and the Sweetheart punch to punch a heart. The heart was added using dimensionals. My card is not complete. Here is my completed creation.
