Hello Stampers!
I hope you have some plans to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend. I have been watching videos from the Stampin’ Up Convention in the South Pacific. I am excited about a number of things. Not sure about some of the new in colors but I often have to see them in real life. There were some things I was glad about – some Christmas sets in the Annual Catalog as well as some carryover from the past mini catalogs. I can’t wait to see the catalog in real life and get the new in colors.
I did not have much time to play yesterday with helping Jess out most of the day. I checked out my challenge blogs for some inspiration. I found a challenge that had a sketch and a color challenge combined. I liked that idea so I used the challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches.
I saw some of the design team’s cards and wanted to try something different. I decided to use the stripes from Painted Petals for the diagonal. My thought was maybe it would look like a trellis. Not sure if I accomplished that or not. After that I decided to punch a bunch of little flowers to add. I then added my sentiment but placed it at the bottom as it seemed to ground the images more down there. Here is my creation.

Thanks for visiting me today. I am planning on working on some design commitments today. Have a Super Saturday!

Pretty card and I like your interpretation of the sketch and colours. Thanks for playing at CC&S.
This is a lovely, CAS version of this week's colours and the sketch Robbie!
Thanks so much for joining us at CAS-Colours and Sketches this week! 🙂

Thanks for joining us at CC&S this last week Robbie. It's lovely to see so many different interpretations of a simple, but possibly tricky sketch. Stef x
