Smooshed background Fall card

Hello everyone – I had fun playing with this technique to create today’s Smooshed background Fall card.
When you are looking for a unique background for your cards try the smooshing technique. This idea is fun as you never know how it will turn out.
Today’s Project
My focus this month has been sharing different background ideas. Today’s card uses the smooshing technique. This is a fun idea and the beauty is if you don’t like it just let it dry and add more color. That is what I had to do with today’s background. My first addition of color was not what I was looking for so I added a second round of colors.

I pulled out some Fall paper I had just gotten and found a pattern that went well with the background. I love it when what I creates goes with products I have and it was not planned. Check out how the pattern paper goes so well with the background.

Here is the video that shows how I made the background and then put the card together.

Here is another idea for a smooshed background that I added some gilded leafing for a gold streak running through it.
