Snow

Happy Monday Everyone ~ Well we did not get any Snow but it was cold enough for it here.

This weekend we made some Christmas cookies with the girls.  Zoie loves to cook and had a good time making them.  We still have one more that is Jess and my favorite to do.  She may try and do those today.  I also spent some time in my craft room.  I have my last Bags & Tags for the year and I had to finish up the project.  Next year we are working on some other types of classes.  If you are local we would love to have you join us!

Today I am sharing a card that I made a few weeks ago.  I was in my room and ran across some snowflakes that I had used some other dies to cut and knew I needed to use them for a card.  I took a piece of Whisper White and embossed it with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  I had the large snowflakes cut out so I wanted some smaller ones.  I stamped the small snowflake from Flurry of Wishes twice and used the punch to punch them out.  I added my snowflakes with either glue dots or dimensionals.  See that lacy ribbon across the bottom.  It was white and I wanted it to be blue so I pulled out my Stampin’ Spritzer and added some alcohol and reinker and spritzed it to dye it.  I let it dry and added it to the lower portion of my card panel.  My card layer was complete so I added it to a Soft Sky card base.  Here is my completed creation.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am head to the hair dresser today, time for my monthly haircut.  I hope you are ready for Christmas.  It is almost here!  Have a Marvelous Monday and I am hoping we get some snow soon!
