Soft White Christmas

Hello Ladies!

Well the rain is back for us.  We even had some sleet last night.  Not much, just enough to say it had sleeted.  West of us is supposed to get some frozen precipitation.  They aren’t sure what kind, the day will tell.  I would love to see some snow as there is nothing like a White Christmas.

Speaking of White Christmas, Amanda and I have started a new venture – maybe you saw the new page at the top.  We had hoped to start it in December but both of our lives were very hectic so we will start in January using some new goodies from the new Occasions catalog so look for the announcement.

When we were going to start in December  we were going to use the White Christmas set.  I had designed my card and was working on the tutorial so I thought I would share my card here.  I did some sponging of snowbanks at the bottom.  I also added some iridescent ice on the trees to make them sparkly.  I love how this card turned out.  It is so peaceful – just like a fresh snowfall.  Here is my card creation for today.

Since this was for our venture I did not do the inside nor make an envelope as I had not planned on sharing it here.  Since we were holding off a month I thought I would go ahead and share this card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I spent some time in my craft room yesterday and got a lot done.  I am going to work in there again today.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Robbie

  1. Your card is lovely – I especially like that you used nothing but the trees and snow banks…and the beautiful soft ribbon at the top…really pretty!
