Spooky Night Halloween Treat Bag

Hello Stampers ~ ready for a Spooky Night Halloween Treat Bag?

I love Halloween!  I love all the different decorating ideas that are out on the web.  The dsp is so fun and you can create everything from a simple card to 3D items to home decor pieces.  I have the witches hat from last year and loved it.  I have seen some cut mini albums in my searches and I am always looking for ideas I can use to create my projects.  If you find anything you like pass it on to me.  I would love to try my hand at creating it.

I ordered the new Spooky Nights dsp from the upcoming Holiday catalog.  I decided to make a simple treat bag using it.  I began by cutting out the pieces using the mini treat bag thinlits.  I chose to use the witch hat side as I love witch hats.  After I had the bag put together, it was time to decorate the front.  I chose the new Labels to Love stamp set and stamped the Halloween sentiment.  To add some interest, I inked it up with Memento Tuxedo black ink and took the ink off of the word Halloween in the middle of the sentiment.  I then used the Pumpkin Pie marker to reink the word.  The sentiment was stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock and punched out using the matching Everyday Label Punch.  I cut a piece of Basic Black a little larger than the punched piece.  I used the retired ticket corner punch to punch the 4 corners.  The 2 pieces were then attached using snail.  I piece of the new Vintage Crochet trim was wrapped around the bag and joined at the center in the front.  The sentiment layer was added to the front of the bag over the crochet trim using dimensionals.  I used the ghost from Sweet Home and matching thinlit to add a ghost to the tag also.  Here is my completed creation.
