Sunflowers from Daisy Punch

Hello Everyone ~ have you created Sunflowers from Daisy Punch yet?

What plans do you have for today?  I am not sure what we will do.  I know we usually start the day with a walk.  This is good as I need to get back into walking.  It is nice to have someone to walk with.  Maybe I need to find some podcasts or other talk show recordings to listen to as I walk so that I will continue to walk when I get back home.  It is good to walk with someone and that keeps me motivated.  I am on the hunt for some of these audio events!

I have seen several cards where the creator used the daisy punch to create Sunflowers.  They could also be cone flowers so I guess it just depends on which you want to call them.  I stamped the daisy and punched it out with the coordinating punch.  Then I cut the flowers in half.  The 2 halves were layered using a dimensional making sure to offset the petals.  To finish off the flower I added a 1/2″ circle of Chocolate Chip that was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder.  Now that my flowers were made, I needed to make the card base.  I began with a piece of the Painted Autumn dsp.  A strip of burlap ribbon was added across the top and secured with tear & tape.  The dsp was added to a white card base.  Using the linen thread a multi loop bow was created and attached to the burlap ribbon with a glue dot.  One of the corrugated elements was tied on using some of the linen thread.  To finish off the card the Sunflowers were added to the lower left hand corner with dimensionals.  Here are my Sunflowers from Daisy Punch.
