Spring Challenge at Butternut Sage Designs

Hello Stampers!

I decided to play with an idea I saw on Stampin’ Fun and Friends.  I modified mine as I was thinking of using the idea for my Spring card for my swap group.  It did not turn out like I had pictured in my mind  but I liked it so instead I am going to use it for the Spring challenge at Butternut Sage Designs.

I used a stencil from the Elegant Trio set.  I had also used Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, and Cherry Cobbler.  You can’t tell from the front as all the colors blended together since I was using watercolor paper.  I think I may have used too much water.  Here is what I created with my experiment.

This is a bright card which you may think are better for Summer, but when I think of Spring I think of red and yellow tulips that will be coming up soon.  Hope you enjoyed my card today!  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!

  1. Robbie, LOVE the color combo and flower choice! For some reason, it makes me think of Hawaii…and I've never been. See ya in Chat…Tracy
