Stampin’ Up Adorable Owls
Happy New Year Everyone – I used some Sale-a-bration items to make the Stampin’ Up Adorable Owls card I am sharing today.
I have to admit the Adorable Owls stamp set in Sale-a-bration was not one that I was interested in. That is until I saw all the cute cards made with them. Are you like me in that you aren’t interested in a stamp set until you see all the cute projects created with it? Well I had to get a set so I could make myself some of those cute cards! Here is the first idea I came up with for this stamp set.
There are 3 cute images in this stamp set. I love the little guy with a bow tie. He is so fun. Will this set be one of your free selections in January?
I used some of the Dandy Designs pattern paper from Sale-a-bration for the center panel. That is a mega pack of paper with forty-eight 12 x 12 sheets. The patterns are geometric so they will go with any pattern paper you already have.
I pulled out some of the Fine sparkle gems which are in the Gnomes suite. They had some Calypso Coral ones that went with my card. I colored my owl using my markers as I don’t have blends to use. That cute owl looks so good on the envelope and inside my card.
Stampin’ Up has created some great animal sets. One of the sets I have used quite a bit is the Hello Ladybug which I used to make this cute card. And how about that adorable cat in Cheerful Basket that I used for this idea.
So which cute animal sets do you have? I would love to see this set and the gnomes continue for a while. Nice break from so many flowers.
