Stampin’ Up Beauty of the Earth

Stampin’ Up Beauty of the Earth

Happy Friday Everyone ~ I am at it again with the Stampin’ Up Beauty of the Earth patterned paper used in a unique way.

I love using my supplies in unique ways.  We have a great seashell set but I did not have the paper that was part of the collection.  In order to continue to use my set, I went looking for some patterned paper I could use with it.  Don’t you think it looks great as water also?

I found some sky paper in a paper collection that I could use for water.  To make it look more like water rather than sky, I used my Birch background to add some lines to simulate waves.

Somehow I missed that the coordinating embossing folder was also carrying over.  Good thing I had a great friend who had some some panels for me to play with.  I used one of those panels and cut it down to make the background for my shell.\

The Friends are Like Seashells bundle has great images and the coordinating dies make it easy to cut it out.

I did a second generation stamping of the large shell using Misty Moonlight and then used the die to cut it out.  All I had to do then was to assemble the Stampin’ Up Beauty of the Earth creation.

Look at this clean and simple shell card. I used a patterned paper that was not designed to be used water. Find out what I used for my Stampin' Up Beauty of the Earth creation.

This large seashell is perfect for clean and simple cards. See how I used it with Stampin' Up Beauty of the Earth patterned paper for a clean and easy card.

Here is another beach card idea that you could easily adapt and use the current set.  Here is a video for an underwater scene that uses some retired patterned paper.  You could easily use some of this paper if you have it with the shells in this set.
