Stampin’ Up Color & Contour easy layout
Hello Everyone – a simple idea is the share with today’s Stampin’ Up Color & Contour easy layout card.
If you are like me you have a lot of pattern paper and are always looking for ways to use it. I am always looking for sketches I can use to take advantage of all the paper I have. Today’s idea was a sketch from My Favorite Things and I love how it turned out.
The simple images in the Color & Contour set are great to create with. I love the fact that the coordinating dies can be used to cut out the images and add accents.
Look at the flowers on this card. I used the blender pen to smear the ink and color the flower. This is a great way to color an image if you don’t want to color using markers or blends.
To finish off my card, I added some brass butterflies. They are the perfect accent for flower cards. I also used the flower for the inside of the card and the envelope.
The Color & Contour stamp set is perfect to use with other pattern papers. This card uses one of the other images with the In Color pattern paper for another easy layout. This card uses the flower image with some vellum paper for a pretty pink card.
