Stampin’ Up Cottage Rose Friends
Hello Everyone – pattern paper and glimmer paper are perfect to make this monochromatic Stampin’ Up Cottage Rose Friends card.
I love monochromatic cards! They are so easy as the color is already picked for you. For this idea today I chose to use the Orchid Oasis In Color as I had the pattern paper and the glimmer paper in that color. This card turned out so pretty don’t you agree?
If you are like me, you love sparkly things. I am always looking for ways to add bling to my cards. When I can use glimmer paper it is perfect as it takes care of my desire for bling. I paired the glimmer paper to the 2022 – 2024 In color pattern paper. I loved the striped pattern and chose to use it. For the image I pulled out my Cottage Rose and used the single flower.
To jazz up my card I used a couple of elements. To add some interest, I used the Basic Borders zigzag die to add a decorative edge to the bottom of the pattern paper. The sentiment was fussy cut in the shape of the letters for some more interest.
I use glimmer paper a lot in my crafting. This card uses a tiny strip to add some interest and sparkle to my card. I have also used a full sheet of Rainbow glimmer paper to create the background for this silhouette card.
