Stampin’ Up! envelope treat bag idea
Hello Everyone – another treat holder today with my Stampin’ Up! envelope treat bag idea.
Well there are only a few weeks left before Halloween will be here. I have enjoyed making all the different projects for the 12 Weeks of Halloween and I hope you have enjoyed them also. Today’s idea was a first for me as I have never made an envelope treat holder. I was surprised how easy it was and it is so cute!
While the envelope is small this treat bag will hold lots of goodies. The bottom is 1 1/2″ wide so you can add some of those mini candy bars. It tapers up but is 3 1/2″ tall so lots of space to add a good handful of candy.
To color mine I used the blending brush and Orchid Oasis ink. After I had my color added I used stamps from Bewitching and the Spooky Treats Paper Pumpkin to add the spiders and sentiment. There is also a spider web under the front flap. I punched 2 holes and used some of the Black & White gingham ribbon to thread through it and tie a bow to close mine. You could easily use a velcro dot. The sentiment is mounted onto an Essential Tag punched from Orchid Oasis. For the bling I love using on my projects I added some of the glitter washi tape.
I have made a few other treat holders during this round of Halloween shares. Did you see this cute idea that uses a cello bag to hold the candy. This idea is an older one but the diaper fold is perfect for holding the Ghiradelli chocolate.
What is your favorite candy to give out at Halloween? I love to use Hershey kisses. You can give a big handful and kids love them!
Thanks for visiting me today and did my Stampin’ Up! cute envelope treat bag inspire you to try this treat holder? If you do, share how you decorated yours.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
