Happy Friday Everyone – are you ready for a colorful Stampin’ Up Artistically Inked Hello creation?

When I saw the color challenge at Colour INKspirations Challenges Facebook Group I knew the Expressions in Ink pattern paper would be perfect for it. I love the watercolor flowers in that paper and made it the center of attention for my card.

This suite has been very popular and I love playing with the bundle and the paper in my papercrafting.

Since my colors were chosen, I decided to see if I could find a layout that would work. The Tuesday Morning Sketches had one that I knew would let me highlight the beautiful paper.

I used my favorite technique I learned from Tammy Wilson for my ribbon. I just love how she cuts the ribbon apart! Here is the video for my Stampin’ Up Expressions in Ink Hello creation.

Measurements

Card Base:  Basic Black 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Gold foil layer:  3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
Pattern Paper layer:  3″ x 4″
White: scraps for stamping and die cutting

To have your card appear more professional, don’t forget to stamp the inside and the envelope.

I love using my Paper Pumpkin stamps on my cards like the thanks on this card. This idea uses the pattern paper along with the In Color shimmery vellum to highlight the flower.

I have a busy weekend as I have a lot of designing to do. I have to make my cards for next week as well as start to work on my January classes.
