Stampin’ Up Flourish Thinlits

Good Morning Stampers ~ I played again with the Stampin’ Up Flourish Thinlits for my card today.

Well I had to readjust my tasks yesterday.  I wanted to get a new venture ready to go for early next week so I worked on it.  Today I will work on packing up some of my cards so I can mail them out on Monday.  I also want to make a few more cards.  I have some ideas I want to play with so be looking for some play ideas.  I also need to vacuum the house and kinda straighten up as I never know when someone will want to see the house.  I am getting all kinds of advice about how to sell the house.  Some of them are very interesting and some are a little crazy.  Needless to say I am not desperate yet so I have not taken any of the ideas to heart yet.  Ask me in about a month if I have tried any of the ideas.

My card today began with the sketch challenge at Try Stampin’ – or not – on Tuesday.

I had an idea when I saw this sketch so I decided to use it.  I will be featuring some retiring stamp sets and paper over the next coming weeks.  This will show you ways you can continue to use what you have while you wait for the new colors and stamp sets to come in.  Today I used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant both of which are retiring in June.  I paired it with the Flourish thinlits and Petal Burst embossing folder.  Here is the video showing how I made my Stampin’ Up Flourish Thinlits card

Here is a photo of the card so you can check out all the elements.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  Wish me luck today as I have a lot to get done.  I am hoping I get more done than I planned on.  A lot will depend on whether I have any showings today or not.  Have a Sensational Sunday and can you see my Stampin’ Up Flourish Thinlits with other colors and a different stamp set?
