Stampin’ Up Flowering Rain Boots Hello
Hello Everyone – I am having so much fun playing with this bundle and I made this Stampin’ Up Flowering Rain Boots Hello creation.
Do you remember as a child putting on your rain boots and going outside after a rain storm to stomp in the puddles? I loved doing that as a child. I used the rain boots with the Flowering Fields pattern paper to create today’s card.

Those boots are so cute and are perfect for decorating the inside of your card and your envelope.
I have created many hello cards which could easily be C.A.S.E.d using the Rain Boots bundle and the Flowering Fields pattern paper. Can’t you see this idea with the pattern paper in the middle and the rain boots on top of the circles? This card would be easy to do with 2 patterns of the paper and the rain boots instead of the circle.
Measurements
Card Base: White 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Petal Pink: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Flowering Fields pattern paper: 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
White: 1 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
scraps for stamping and die cutting
Step by Step
- fold and burnish the card base
- add the pattern paper to the Petal Pink panel
- glue the Petal Pink panel to the card base
- die cut 2 of the lattice dies using White
- stamp the sentiment to the left hand side of the White strip using Petal Pink ink
- glue one of the lattice dies to the back of the long strip so the middle of the lattice die is even with the edge of the long strip
- repeat the step above with the other lattice die
- add the strip to the lower third of the card front
- stamp the boots onto scrap paper using Petal Pink ink and use the coordinating die to cut it out
- add a strip of Shimmery Crystal Effects to the top of the boots, take a scrap of card stock and swipe the crystal effects down the boots – Note: apply a light pressure when swiping down so you leave a thin layer of the crystal effects on the boots
- allow the crystal effect to dry completely
- use dimensionals to add the boots to the right hand side of the sentiment strip
