Stampin’ Up Heartfelt Cute Card

Stampin’ Up Heartfelt Cute Card

It’s Friday and I am so excited to share the Stampin’ Up Heartfelt Cute Card as it is a great simple Valentine card to make.

If you need a quick Valentine card or one that you can mass produce then look no further! A fun stamp set, 2 colors of card stock, 1 ink pad, some heart punches, and a bit of ribbon and gems and you are set.

Check out the ribbon used to create a fun element on the background. The Stampin' Up Heartfelt Cute Card is the perfect card for anyone you want to send a card to for Valentine's Day.

I have had so much fun playing with the Hearts punch pack this week. I hope you have found a card you want to make. If you don’t have these punches you can order them by clicking the image below.

I love that scalloped heart to create a beautiful background for you punched heart. It is an easy way to create a layered element for your card.

I used Real Red ink and did some second generation stamping on the background to get another color. This is a way to create cards with colors that go together well.

Don’t you get mad as you end up with ink smudges on your card? I knew I got ink on my finger and thought I had cleaned it off but apparently not enough as I ended up with red smudges on my white panel. That meant I either had to cut a new panel and remove the smudged one from the red panel or find a way to hide the smudges.

I decided to use some ribbon in a creative way to hide the smudges. Check out the video below to see how to make the card and how I hid the smudges.

That lacy heart image is perfect for decorating the inside of your card and envelope. Love using images from my card to carry the theme through my whole project

The lacy Valentine image used on the inside of the card and envelope created a fun background on the card front. Check out the Stampin' Up Heartfelt Cute Card front to see all the details.

Did you see the ideas I have shared this week? I love this red and black one as it is so eye catching. And how about this cute kids Valentine card with the adorable otter.

Did you see the tool I used to line up my rhinestones in the photo below? It was an item Stampin’ Up carried quite a while ago and I talked about in the video. How many of you still have this?
