Good Morning Stampers ~ Stampin’ Up Labels to Love Halloween is my next card in my Halloween Week.
I finished choosing my granite yesterday. I found a remnant I really liked but the warehouse did not have my back splash. They gave me a piece to take back to the showroom so I could compare it. When I got back and put the back splash with it I did not like it. I ended up going back to my original piece as it really popped like I was looking for. I ended up using the same granite for all the bathrooms also. With the paint color and the cabinet colors this was the best choice. Now I need to make sure the flooring I still goes. I may go borrow the granite piece and take it to the flooring store to see if there is a better choice. So much for making decisions early!
The next card for my Halloween week is a clean and simple. I began with the sketch challenge at Fab Friday
I began with the card base and chose to use Granny Apple Green. The Subtle embossing folder was used to add some texture to the background. To address the banner I used a piece of the Best Route dsp. I flagged the bottom and mounted it onto a piece of Gray Granite. This was mounted onto the card base. I added a bow using the Black glittered organdy ribbon. The sentiment was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I fussy cut it using the outside line of the image. The background for the stamp was punched using the Everyday Label punch and Pumpkin Pie card stock. The 2 were mounted and I stamped the sentiment again using Pumpkin Pie ink. The center was cut out and added to the layered sentiment using dimensionals. The completed sentiment element was attached to the card base using dimensionals. To address the side elements I wanted to do some bats. We do not have a bat thinlit and I do not have the bat punch. I went looking at my punches and found that I might be able to use the Four Petal flower punch. I played with the punch and was able to get a decent looking bat. I made 2 of them and added them to the sides of the sentiment. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Labels to Love Halloween creation.

Very cute! I haven’t used the Labels to Love set nearly enough. I like how you used Pumpkin Pie ink for the sentiment but left the outside of the label black. And the itty bats are cute too! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday?
