Stampin’ Up Large Letters Framelits Boo

Good Morning Stampers ~ a very colorful Stampin’ Up Large Letters Framelits Boo creation is on the blog today.

Today is World Card Making Day!  What plans do you have to celebrate?  It is also the next to last day for the special sale Stampin’ Up is having.  Make sure you order your items before tomorrow night!  I got word that they are going to clear the lot today after noon.  I will be over there to take some pictures.  Barb and Doug who will be my neighbors are doing a cook out that I will go to.  I am hoping they have finished most of the work before the barbecue starts.  I have to find out where I can get my pictures developed so I can start my scrapbook of the building of the house.  I took pictures of the last house but never got it scrapped.  Not going to do that with this one as I plan on starting this week with the pictures I have so far.  I figure if I keep up with it by the time the house is completed my scrapbook will be also.  Make sure you ask how it is going and to see the photos of the pages.  That will keep me on track!

I have a very colorful Halloween card today.  If you do not have many Halloween stamp sets or designer series paper here is an idea you can use that you don’t need a stamp set or designer series paper for  I began with a piece of Pumpkin Pie card stock and embossed it using the Polka Dot Basics embossing folder.  I then took a piece of the Black 3/8″ glittered organdy ribbon and wrapped it around the bottom.  This panel was attached to a Basic Black card base.  Using the Large Letters framelits I cut out the word “BOO” using Basic Black and Gorgeous Grape card stock.  I layered the purple letters on top of the black letters using multipurpose liquid glue.  I then added the letters to the card base.  To finish off the card, I tied a bow using the glittered organdy ribbon and it was added to the ribbon band using a glue dot.  Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Large Letters Framelits Boo creation.
