Stampin’ Up Lights Aglow New Year’s
Merry Christmas everyone – if you have some of the Christmas paper left, use it to create this Stampin’ Up Lights Aglow New Year’s card.
I had some of left over Lights Aglow paper and wanted to find other ways to use some of it. I think the black and gold star paper is perfect for New Year’s cards.
The paper has sold out but the ribbon is on clearance at a fabulous price. Pick up some of this if you like deconstructing your ribbon. It makes the greatest bows. Click the image below to add it to your cart.
This card is very simple and easy to create so you make quite a few of these to send out. Simple panels with a ribbon embellishment and a sentiment. I got the sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and embossed it in gold.
I love deconstructing this ribbon. The feathery whisps is creates add interest to your card. Easy to do by just cutting your ribbon in half and pulling the threads after you tie it.
If you are not into deconstructing your ribbon you can easily tie a bow like I do for this simple card. If you struggle with bows, then deconstruct the ribbon and use it as an embellishment on your card like this idea.
Think outside the box with your pattern paper like on this card. It will extend the use of your supplies and help you use up your leftovers.
Thanks for taking some time today to visit me. I hope you have a wonderful day with family and friends!
Merry Christmas!
