Stampin’ Up Cheerful Basket Snowballs

Stampin’ Up Cheerful Basket Snowballs

Hello Everyone – I hope you all had a fabulous day yesterday and are ready for a fun idea with this Stampin’ Up Cheerful Basket Snowballs card.

Do you remember snowball fights when you were younger? They were so much fun and I loved it when I had a bunch of snowballs already made when the fight began. That was the inspiration for today’s card. I created my own basket of snowballs ready when the first snowball was thrown.

Basket of snowballs for the big fight is the idea behind this Stampin' Up Cheerful Basket Snowballs card.

The Cheerful Basket can be used for several holidays. Since I like to extend the use of my stamps, I like to find ways to use them that may not be included as part of the stamp set. What better way than to make a basket of snowballs!

The snowballs were easy as I used a retired 3/4″ punch and some White glitter paper that is also retired. After I had my card completed I went looking for the word “Snow” to use as my sentiment. I did not have one so I pulled out my sets and used a variety of stamp sets to get my words. After I stamped them I just cut out each individual letter.

To finish off my card I added some white glittered ribbon. I even deconstructed it to create my bow. The letters were a challenge to find a stamp set that had the letter I needed in about the size I needed. I did not have an “o” so I used the marker and wrote my own. That basket of snowballs were fun to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope. I created a template and then sponged in the color I needed.

The bundle comes with a great apple image you can use to fill your basket. I used those apples with the same paper as today’s card for this idea. Another image in the bundle is a cat. Check out how I made this adorable card peeking out the window at those butterflies.

I love making this basket of snowballs and then creating a mask to do the sponged ones. Who’s ready for a snowball fight?

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope you were inspired to create your own idea like I did with the Stampin’ Up Cheerful Basket Snowballs card.

Have a Marvelous Monday!
