Stampin’ Up Perfectly Penciled fun ribbon treatment
Hello Everyone – I used another idea for deconstructing ribbon with today’s Stampin’ Up Perfectly Penciled fun ribbon treatment creation.
I began with another one of Kendra’s card challenge sketches. This one uses Challenge 2 sketch 12. It was easy to do using the Perfectly Penciled pattern paper.
This paper is perfect for using with any color. I have used it with Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo to name a few. I love the patterns in the paper as they can be masculine or feminine.
I love deconstructing my ribbons. I used the White frayed ribbon and unraveled it. I then wrapped the piece that I pulled out to wrap around the card base 3 times leaving a slight space between the strips so you can see there are 3 there. From the piece that is left when you unravel it I cut about 1 1/2″ off keeping the individual strips together. They were tied together with another piece that was unraveled. After fluffing up the ribbon I added it to my card front on top of the strips wrapped around the card. Check out this fun ribbon idea.
This is a simple card but has a WOW factor. I love how you can use this paper with any color and it still looks great. I think the fun ribbon treatment is perfect for the card.
Black and white is great for using with whatever color you want. Choose masculine colors and patterns that are great for guys like I did for this quick and easy idea. Here is an idea that would be great for the ladies as it uses a flower as the image.
