Stampin’ Up True Beauty with Perfectly Penciled pattern paper
Hello Everyone – who doesn’t love working with black and white like I did with the Stampin’ Up True Beauty with Perfectly Penciled pattern paper creation.
Today’s idea is deceiving. It looks like it could be a gate fold card with a belly band but it is not. This is a regular folded card but the added pieces give it the look of a fancy fold. A simple flower finishes the card perfectly.
Have you looked at the Perfectly Penciled pattern paper? I love the black and white patterns in this collection. And the beauty is if you need a color, you can easily color the paper to match your project.
Today’s card was inspired by another one of Kendra’s card challenges. This one is Challenge #4 sketch 2. I paired this paper with the True Beauty stamp set and added some texture with the Hive embossing folder.
Despite the fact that this card looks complicated, it is really pretty easy. And make sure you use the same images to decorate the inside of your card and envelope. It ties the whole card together.
I love paying with this pattern paper. I used the paper for this black and white card but you could easily color the flowers to add some color. Check out how the paper is a great background for this colorful card, so pretty.
What is your favorite color to use with black and white? I have not found my favorite but I am partial to Bermuda Bay with it. Play around with it and see what your favorite color is.
