Hello Everyone – I used the Perfectly Penciled pattern paper for my Stampin’ Up Perfectly Penciled Smiles idea.

I decided to use some of my black and white pattern paper to make a card. The paper had some adorable little flowers on it and I thought it would be great to use my markers to color those flowers. I decided to color the flowers on the pattern paper to add some color to the paper. Check out this great way to extend the use of your pattern paper.

Have you seen all the patterns in the Perfectly Penciled pattern paper? They are great for using on your cards with one other color.

I wanted to color the sentiment which is a challenge on dark card stock. It did not turn out that well as it is blurry. I need to play with this idea more and see if I can perfect it. If I can work it out this would be a great way to use colored sentiments on dark card stock.

Since I like decorating the inside of my card and envelope I found a cute little flower in the Lovely You stamp set I could use.

I have used other pattern in this collection to color with markers. This one colors the flowers and the leaves with markers. This paper is a great one to use for the spotlighting technique like this card.
