Stampin’ Up Pretty Kitty Just Peeking

Hello Ladies ~ I played with the kitties today and created the Stampin’ Up Pretty Kitty Just Peeking card.

Today I have an appointment at 12:30 and then I will be in my craft room working on cards and projects I need to have finished for the blog.  I need to make sure I have worked ahead so that I am not scrambling if a request for a showing comes in.  Tomorrow I have workers coming at 7:30 so I need to be up early.  I then have a hair appointment so will be heading out.  The rest of the week I do not have anything so I can spend a lot of time in my craft room creating!  What plans do you have for the week?

Last month I went through the catalog until I came to the first set I owned.  I then used that set to create several cards.  When I finished with that set I went to the next set and created several cards using it.  I continued in this manner using several of the sets I have.  I am still working my way through the catalog and creating using my sets.  This way I have lots of cards prepared and can plan out my schedule for posting and be prepared if I get a request for a showing.  My goal is to work my way through the entire catalog and use all my sets.

Today I am using the Pretty Kitty stamp set.  There are some cute images in this set and I got it as I knew the girls would love getting cards with these images.  I chose to use the image with the kitty peeking out of the flower pot.  I stamped the image using Tuxedo Memento Black ink.  It was colored using various markers.  I used the Layering Circles framelits to cut it out and then cut the next largest circle from Flirty Flamingo.  These 2 circles were layered.  For my background I used the Pattern Party Decorative Masks, a sponge dauber, and Cajun Craze ink.  When it was finished I used the Wind of Stella to color over the diamonds.  I attached this panel to my Old Olive card base.  Using dimensionals I attached the kitty image.  To finish off my creation I stamped the sentiment using Gorgeous Grape.  The Banner Triple punch was used to flag the end.  The sentiment was layered onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape card stock that the end was flagged also.  The sentiment layers were added using dimensionals.  Here is the Stampin’ Up Pretty Kitty Just Peeking card.

    Loving the kitty!

    • The girls will like it also. I used the embossing paste on the background. Have not played with that in a while.
