Hello Everyone – I needed some sparkle in my day yesterday with all the rain so I used the Stampin’ Up Rainbow Glimmer Paper for my card today.

I saw a card online that used this glitter paper along with some black images so I decided to make my version.

I love sparkle and the Stampin' Up Rainbow Glimmer Paper has lots of it. I used it with the Harvest Dies for this colorful creation. Get all the details by clicking the photo.

I love this glitter paper as it has so many colors. You can cut it to get a rainbow look or use small sections to get 1 color.

Check out how the black makes these colors pop. I love bright colors and using black with them enhances the colors.

I love to use glitter paper on my cards. For this one I have used the Rainbow Glimmer paper to make the snowflakes. For this card I used a strip of glimmer paper to add interest.

I used the die cut as a stencil to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope. I sponged on color using the ones you can find in the glimmer paper.

Measurements

Card Base: Basic Black 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scrap for die cutting
White: 4″ x 5 1/4″
Rainbow Glimmer paper: 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″

Let’s Make It

add the strip of glimmer paper to the White panel
wrap a piece of the Black & White gingham ribbon around the bottom of the White panel and secure with Tear & Tape
fold and burnish the card base
glue the White panel to the Black card base
die cut the image from Black card stock
add the die cut to the glimmer panel using dimensionals
stamp the sentiment using Memento Tuxedo Black ink
tie a bow using the Black & White gingham ribbon and attach to the strip of ribbon using glue dots
