Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Blooms

Happy Monday Everyone ~ this is a beautiful Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Blooms creation!

We are back to the rainy weather again.  It was dreary all weekend.  I spent lots of time in my craft room making videos and cards.  I will continue to work ahead as this coming weekend I will have Remi and won’t be able to do anything then.  I am thinking we will make my Easter wreath.  She saw the items last week when I had her and asked about them.  I think she will like helping me make it.  I will take some pictures to share so you can see our progress.

I got the Sale-a-bration stamp set Heartfelt Blooms recently and wanted to play with it.  In my demo Facebook group there has been a lot of sharing of some fabulous cards.  There were several cards that caught my eye that I wanted to try.  Today’s card was one of those.  I began by stamping the image in the lower left hand corner using Peekaboo Peach.  I did not stamp the entire image but only part of it.  On a scrap piece of card stock, I stamped the image again with the same color.  I cleaned my stamp and then stamped it again using Pear Pizzazz.  I used the images on the scrap paper to cut out the main daisy type flower in Peekaboo Peach and the leaves in the Pear Pizzazz.  The center of the Peekaboo Peach flower I cut out was colored using a Crushed Curry Marker.  I used glue dots to attach the leaves to the back of the flower I cut out.  This flower was set aside while I assembled my card base.  I used a 4 1/4″ x 11″ piece of Peekaboo Peach card base scored at 5 1/2″ to create a top folding card.  The stamped Whisper White panel was attached to the Pear Pizzazz layer using multipurpose liquid glue.  This panel was then added to the card base using the same glue.  I used some linen thread and wrapped it around the top of the card base twice.  I tied it with double knot and left the tails long.  I used the same thread to create a multi-loop bow.   I attached the bow using a glue dot.  The flower was added using dimensionals.  Here is my completed Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Blooms creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  Bijou has an appointment at the spa today.  She is in need of some grooming!  After that I will be back working on organizing my craft room since I did not do anything this weekend.  Have a Marvelous Monday and do you have the Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration Heartfelt Blooms stamp set yet?
