Stampin’ Up Snowflake Wishes Thanks
Happy Friday Everyone – are you ready for a Stampin’ Up Snowflake Wishes Thanks card today?
I love snowflakes and the sparklier (is that a word?) the better! I used the Ombre glitter paper for my snowflakes to give them lots of sparkle.
I love the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and dies. It has beautiful images you can use for stamping and the dies create gorgeous intricate snowflakes you can use on your cards.
I needed a layout and saw one at Crazy 4 Challenges that I modified to use for my card today.
I chose to make a regular card rather than a slimline card. I love the sparkle my snowflakes have since I used the Ombre glitter paper.
To see how I created this pretty Winter card, here is the video.
Here are the measurements so you can make your version.
Measurements
Card Base: Pool Party 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Embossed strip: 1 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
Sentiment background: Pool Party 1 7/8″ x 1 7/8″
Sentiment Layer: White 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
The stamp set has a variety of snowflake images that you can choose the ones you like the best to use on your project. I chose to use one of the simple ones to decorate the inside of my card and envelope.
I have used this set a lot. Here is an idea where I layered the snowflakes. This idea uses the same snowflake as I used on today’s card.
