Stampin’ Up Splendid Day Christmas for Inspirations in Ink blog hop

Hello everyone – I played with a stamp set not designed for the holidays and created the Stampin’ Up Splendid Day Christmas card for today.

Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme was Christmas in July. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.

You may be starting here – Creations in Paper – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

I have shared a number of project using the Splendid Day suite as that collection of products are gorgeous! I wanted to also show you that you can use this suite for other holidays so our challenge this month was perfect. Look at how I used the products to create this beautiful Christmas card.

Think you can't use a general set for the holidays? Don't miss my Stampin' Up Splendid Day Christmas for Inspirations in Ink blog hop idea.

When I looked at the Splendid Day paper knowing I wanted to do a Christmas card the copper foil with the leaf sprays just said Christmas tree branches to me. That was all I needed to get designing. I pulled out the dies and used them to create the die cut element to add some interest.

Check out how using Christmas colors for the die cuts lets you use this set for that holiday. Don't miss my Stampin' Up Splendid Day Christmas idea.

I even thought the one stem in the stamp set could be used to add some decoration to the inside of the card and envelope. I just loved how this idea turned out!

Look at how the one stamp can create a fun image for the inside of your card and envelope. Don't miss my Stampin' Up Splendid Day Christmas for Inspirations in Ink blog hop idea.
